Water

Did you know that your body is mostly water?  This includes the brain, blood, and muscles.  Water is so important because you can't clean and nourish your cells or eliminate metabolic waste without it.

Your goal should be to drink about half your weight in ounces daily.  So, if you weigh 100 lbs. you should drink about 50 oz. a day, which would be about 6 cups.

The Type of water that you drink is also important. I recommend that you drink filtered water in a glass or stainless-steel bottle.  Tap water can have chlorine, fluoride, and other heavy metals, which is why filtering your water is so important.   Plastic water bottles contain phthalates which are inflammatory in the body.

It's not just important for drinking, but also for our bodies.  You can buy a shower filter and install it: this will help take out any chlorine that is in your water.
